Education & Training
Experienced instructors of
English as a Second Language specialize in individual student-based
courses. We provide day, evening, and Saturday classes in
English as a Second Language, GED preparation, job training, computer
workshops and citizenship preparation. Focusing on high quality instruction and curriculum excellence, we prepare students to read, write and speak in English in order to live, work, and be active participants in their communities. Classes are goal oriented, with students consistently achieving ESL improvement outcomes.

Feinstein Center for Citizenship & Immigration Services
Experienced caseworkers and an on-staff
attorney are federally accredited by the U.S. Board of Immigration
Appeals (BIA) and trained to assist clients with legal
status applications including: asylum, green cards,
family reunification and citizenship.
In addition, our outreach specialist
conducts community educational sessions on immigration laws, issues,
and advocacy. We've assisted thousands of area residents to become full participants in the American dream by helping them achieve citizenship.

| Refugee
Resettlement & Minority Health Promotion
IIRI resettles vulnerable refugees from
troubled regions all over the world. Our caring, multi-lingual staff provides
refugee families with cultural orientation, a first apartment,
school enrollment, advocacy, and referrals. In house collaboration
with the Minority Health Promotion Center and the Employment Center
provide health screenings, job training, and employment leads. We collaborate proactively with othe community organizations to provide a full range of high quality services to our newest residents.

Our network of
highly qualified, professional translators and interpreters offers services in more than 60 languages,
including all the major languages, 5 dialects of Chinese, and
African and Asian languages. Services are available 24 hours a

| The International
Charter School

Sponsored by the International
Institute, the International Charter School is a multicultural,
multilingual public elementary school of choice designated as
High Performing by Rhode Island testing standards. Located
at 334 Pleasant Street in Pawtucket, the school has 240 students
in grades K-5 from the Pawtucket, Providence and Central Falls
school districts. Small classes, project-based learning
and a sense of family and community are all integral to the multicultural
nature of the school, whose courses features a two-way dual language
immersion model. All students are taught in English and
either Spanish or Portuguese.
