IIRI Celebrates the spring carnival ball!
Please join us in celebrating the 24th Annual Spring Carnival Ball on Saturday, April 17th from 8pm to midnight at Rhodes-on-the-Pawtuxet in Cranston, Rhode Island. All proceeds from the evening will benefit Rhode Island ’s immigrant and refugee communities.
With the reputation of being one of the Ocean State’s best and most diverse parties of the year, the Spring Carnival Ball is renowned for its quality international entertainment and high energy.
This year’s Ball will feature Grupo Fantasia, musicians from around the world, providing traditional island entertainment with an extensive repertoire of songs from the Caribbean and Latin America. The Spring Carnival Ball will also feature BIG NAZO, What Cheer? Brigade, the Rhode Island Association of Chinese-Americans Kung Fu Club performing a traditional Lion Dance, and drummers from International Institute.
The Spring Carnival Ball will be co-chaired by Katherine Harrison Pelson and Mark Pelson. Dr. Pablo Rodriguez of Women’s Care Inc. and Barbara Morse-Silva of NBC10 will once again serve as Co-Master of Ceremonies.
Tickets for the 24th Annual Spring Carnival Ball are $75 each and $20 for students. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 401-784-8634. Patron tickets are available at $100 each and also include a special invitation to the Patron Reception from 7 PM to 8 PM. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the door.
